Frances Jackson

Frances is CEO at OPX. Frances works strategically with clients across many different sectors from global management consultants to start ups. She is an expert in brand and communications with extensive experience in managing large projects, providing leadership and maintaining a clear vision throughout a project to ensure its business objectives are achieved.

Frances joined OPX in 2000 having previously worked at Coley Porter Bell, The Partners and Meta Design. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a D&AD silver pencil winner.

Simon Goodall

Simon is Client Director at OPX. As well as leading projects he also heads our narrative and verbal identity work, helping organisations articulate their story and develop their tone of voice.

Simon has over two decades of experience delivering projects for a wide range of clients including: AECOM, Aviva Investors, Arup, Energy Saving Trust and Thames Water.

Simon has a particular interest in communications around energy and sustainability. He has spoken at two ENDS conferences on sustainable brands and delivered a keynote address at the 2014 Behave Energy Conference.

William Bickerstaff

Bill is Creative Director at OPX. He has particular expertise in delivering large brand identity systems for global organisations. That expertise has seen him creatively lead comprehensive brand development projects for clients including ASTM International, BAE Systems, Nuffield Health and VT Group.

Beyond brand identity, Bill works with video and multi-media – art directing movies and presentations that bring a company’s brand story to life.

Bill is a graduate of the London College of Printing, and has lectured at a number of London art colleges including Chelsea, Kingston and Middlesex.

David Bennett

David is Design Director at OPX. He brings 18 years of experience to the role and a passion for design excellence. He works on a wide range of projects, including brand identity for Amlin, and award winning brand, digital and exhibition design for Look Mum No Hands and the Crafts Council.

David curates and edits ‘Visuelle’, a highly respected blog that showcases outstanding creative work to over 2,000 people a day.

He is also a Board Director of ISTD – the International Society of Typographic Designers. David is a graduate of the London College of Communication and returns regularly to give talks to the next generation of creative talent.

Alison Farrow

Alison is Financial Director at OPX and also has responsibility for HR. She takes great pride in ensuring that client and suppliers alike receive an efficient and professional service from all areas of the business.

Alison started her career with Honeywell Computers before moving on to Penguin Books and Futitsu ICL where she became Regional Finance Controller.

Alison studied Politics and Economics at Warwick University and completed her CIMA accountancy qualifications in 1994.

Stuart Avery

Stuart is Digital Director at OPX leading our work across strategy, user experience and implementation. Across all projects he focuses creating solutions that support our clients’ commercial goals whilst delighting and engaging their users.

Stuart brings over 16 years experience in digital, leading a wide range of projects including global websites, e-commerce platforms and apps. Clients have included: BBC, Kia, Orange, Land Rover and Triumph Motorcycles.

Stuart is also a Director of Bristol dining destination Goldbrick House and a Trustee of Bristol Music Trust.

We celebrated our 20th birthday in 2012 with a party at Shoreditch House. Over the past 20 years we've worked alongside some really talented people, delivered some great projects and hopefully repaid the faith lots of different clients have placed in us. Our 20th birthday party at Shoreditch House was an opportunity to look up and thank some of the many people who had helped us along the way – clients, suppliers, and ex-OPX people who are now making their own way in the world.
