About us

OPX is an award winning branding and corporate communications agency with extensive experience in creating brands and developing communications for large and small organisations.

We were founded in 1992 and are based in Shoreditch, London, on the edge of the main financial centre of The City of London. During this time, our experience and client base has grown but we have chosen to stay small in number - retaining our independence and creativity. We are proudly owner managed and independent.

We are lead by four creative directors and one financial director who ensures that projects are delivered on-time and within budget. They are supported by a permanent team of designers, user experience (UX) designers, project managers and digital project managers. We also work with a trusted pool of suppliers from whom we expect the same high standards we set ourselves. We have a strong culture of intelligent, creativity and delivery across all of our disciplines, combining the process and quality of thinking that you might normally find in traditionally larger agencies, with the responsiveness and flexibility of smaller.

Our work

We have particular experience working with large organisations who require strong creativity, allied to a depth of brand knowledge and thinking that ensures solutions continue to work and grow over time, and across a variety of applications. Our client base is broad, we have clients in the areas of professional and financial services, architecture, construction, engineering, manufacturing and utilities. We also work for a number of charities and cultural organisations. We believe this varied mix of work ensures we continue to push every project creatively.

To ensure our high standards, our processes have been formalised in a quality management policy covering every aspect of the way we work. We are happy to share this with you if that's of interest.

Sustainability is another area that's important to us. We won a Green Mark Award for our own internal environmental processes, but we recognise that it's with our clients that we can make the biggest impact. That's why we work hard to promote best possible practice in areas like print production.

OPX20

We celebrated our 20th birthday in 2012 with a party at Shoreditch House. Over the past 20 years we've worked alongside some really talented people, delivered some great projects and hopefully repaid the faith lots of different clients have placed in us. Our 20th birthday party at Shoreditch House was an opportunity to look up and thank some of the many people who had helped us along the way - clients, suppliers, and ex-OPX people who are now making their own way in the world.
