• Last month one of the largest earthquakes and Tsunamis struck northern Japan. We at OPX, led by Risa our senior designer, felt compelled to do something to help. We immediately made a donation to the Japanese RedCross.

We also looked at many different organisations setting up the relief funds for Japan, among them one website stuck out. It was a non-profit design services firm called Architecture for Humanity. They are working world-wide, building a more sustainable future through the power of professional design. As designers ourselves, we found it very encouraging to know there are people out there using design so positively. We’re currently in touch with them to see if OPX can help any part of their operations – we’ll update you with more details as things progress. Please have a look at their website to see the fantastic work they are doing. They are always grateful for donations of money or design expertise.

  • This is the brochure we've designed for the British Council for Offices. This year's conference focuses on 'rethinking the future of the office'. For example, will vCards replace business cards?

  • New year, new OPX printed book featuring some lovely branding work from 2010...

  • We have just installed snow flake mobiles at Look Mum No Hands! The shapes are laser cut from old school chain-ring designs.

  • We were asked to join in the 'Reverting to Type' project by the New North Press a typographic extravaganza! Curated by Graham Bignell & Richard Ardagh, Reverting to Type will showcase the work of twenty contemporary letterpress practitioners from around the world, contributions from three leading art colleges and the first eight in an ongoing series of prints with especially invited collaborators.
