Christmas cards for clients are every designer's worst nightmare! But this one was more fun. The concept for this Christmas animation followed on from the Corporate advertising campaign we did for InterfaceFLOR. We cut paper to create the individual scenes and photographed each one to make the animation.

As polished Mac based solutions become the norm, we wonder if they stop communicating so effectively? We seem to be more and more inspired to create solutions away from the Mac and these posters for Faber Maunsell looking at health and safety issues in the workplace show that we are getting better and better at it.

ribaproductselector.com is the market leading product directory for specifiers and other construction industry professionals. Available in both print and online versions, it contains over 20,000 trade names and 7,800 manufacturers. As part of our relationship with RIBA Enterprises they asked us to give the hardback printed catalogues a clean and modern set of advertisements to promote the advanced features of the online database. We created the imagery by projecting their logo on to objects commonly searched for in the product selector.

OPX co-sponsored a conference focussing on sustainability and brands in London on 27 September, giving a presentation on how to best communicate sustainability to internal and external audiences, and also to build sustainable best practice into the communications themselves. Fellow speakers from Toyota, Boots, WWF, Forum for the Future, Envirowise, Thames Water, Cadbury Schweppes and National Express helped to make it a fascinating day.

On the same day we launched Point vol. 01 - Sustainability including an interview with Karin Laljani at Interface FLOR by Tim Rich, Ken Dalton at AECOM by Phil Clark, and an article from Mason Baker at the London Environment Centre. Order your copy now!
